💱 Guide: RFQ Component (Request for Quote)

This guide explains all features of the RFQ component in the platform, including currency selection, quote requests, and trade execution.


🪙 Step 1: Selecting Currencies and Pairs

🔽 Step 1.1: Left Dropdown Menu

  • On the left side of the RFQ component, you’ll find a dropdown menu.

  • Clicking it displays all your available accounts.

  • You will see the currencies linked to your account.

  • This side represents the base currency of the transaction.

🔽 Step 1.2: Right Dropdown Menu

  • On the right side, there is another dropdown menu.

  • It displays available currencies to exchange with the base currency.

  • This side represents the quote currency.

  • Together, both dropdowns form the currency pair for the trade.

💱 Step 1.3: Understanding Currency Pairs

  • Base Currency (left): The currency you are selling.

  • Quote Currency (right): The currency you are buying.

  • Example: BRL (left) → USDT (right) = you are selling BRL to buy USDT.

  • This combination is known as a currency pair.


💰 Step 2: Setting Amounts

🧮 Step 2.1: Value Fields

  • Below the dropdowns, you'll find the value input fields.

  • You can fill either the base or the quote currency field.

  • The platform will automatically calculate the corresponding value.

🧾 Step 2.2: Example - Receiving Quote Currency

  • Configuration: BRL to USDT

  • Action: Enter 1000 in the USDT field

  • Result: You want to receive 1000 USDT

  • Calculation: The system will calculate how much BRL is required.

🧾 Step 2.3: Example - Selling Base Currency

  • Configuration: BRL to USDT

  • Action: Enter 1000 in the BRL field

  • Result: You want to sell 1000 BRL

  • Calculation: The system will calculate how much USDT you will receive.


🧩 Step 3: Additional Features

🔁 Step 3.1: Flip Button

  • Located in the center of the component.

  • Clicking it swaps the positions of the currencies.

  • Example: BRL → USDT becomes USDT → BRL

  • Allows fast reversal of trade direction.

👀 Step 3.2: Pre-Quote (Preview)

  • After entering a value, the pre-quote will appear.

  • Shows an estimated average exchange rate.

  • Displays the input amount and expected output.

⚠️ Note: The pre-quote is only an estimate, not the final rate.


📩 Step 4: Requesting a Quote

🟢 Step 4.1: “Request Quote” Button

  • Below the pre-quote, click the “Request Quote” button.

  • This generates an official quote.

  • A new component will appear: the Quote Card.

🔄 Step 4.2: Multiple Requests

  • You can click the button multiple times.

  • Example: Clicking 3 times will create 3 separate quote cards.

  • Each card represents a distinct quote.

  • You can accept or discard each one individually.


💳 Step 5: Quote Card

🧾 Step 5.1: Viewing the Card

  • After requesting a quote, the Quote Card will appear.

  • It displays the real, official quote for the transaction.

  • Includes all execution details.

📊 Step 5.2: Card Information

  • Given Amount: The amount of base currency being sent.

  • Received Amount: The amount of quote currency to be received.

  • Base Quantity: The total base value of the transaction.

  • Operation Details: All technical and financial data.

⏳ Step 5.3: Expiration Timer

  • A countdown shows how long the quote remains valid.

  • After expiration, the quote is no longer valid.

  • You will need to request a new quote.


⚙️ Step 6: Quote Card Actions

❌✅ Step 6.1: Available Options

  • In the top right corner of the card:

    • Discard: Rejects the quote.

    • Accept: Confirms and executes the trade.

❌ Step 6.2: Discard Action

  • The trade will not be executed.

  • The card will be removed.

  • No changes will be made to account balances.

✅ Step 6.3: Accept Action

  • The trade is executed immediately.

  • The transactions table will be updated.

  • Account balances will be adjusted accordingly.

  • Currency values will reflect the trade.


🔄 Step 7: Automatic Updates

📑 Step 7.1: Table Update

  • The transaction history table updates automatically.

  • The new operation appears as the most recent.

  • All details are recorded and visible.

💸 Step 7.2: Balance Adjustments

  • Currency balances are updated in real time.

  • The base currency is debited.

  • The quote currency is credited.
